About EMFS - European Master in Food Studies

The European Master in Food Studies (EMFS) is a 2-year international Master's Programme in Food Science and Technology, a specialization within the MSc 'Food Technology' at the Wageningen University & Research.

During the first year, students embark on a transformative journey of cultural exploration through a series of academic modules at 4 of Europe’s top universities: Wageningen University and Research, University College Cork, AgroParisTech and Lund University.

In their second year, students complete a guaranteed 9-month placement at one of our partner companies, working work full-time in an industrial research laboratory: Unilever, DSM-Firmenich, JDE-Peets, Nestlé, Mondēlez, Tetrapak, Kerry, Flora Group and Cargill.

After completing the EMFS programme, graduates receive an MSc in Food Technology that is respected worldwide. In its 25+ years of existence, EMFS has shown to deliver high-quality graduates that have found leading positions in the food industry throughout the world.
