About Re-Street

Re-Street is a fun initiative kickstarted by two enthusiastic internationals with backgrounds in urban planning who now call the Netherlands home.

We think streets should be more than just roads for cars. They should be places where kids can play, neighbours can connect, and everyone feels welcome.

At Re-Street, we love putting children at the center of street design. Our approach is simple: invite kids to dream up new ideas in hands-on workshops, turning ordinary streets into vibrant, playful spaces. Our pilot project in Nijmegen brings out children's unique perspectives, because when you design for kids, you design streets that work better for everyone.

We're all about co-creating safer, greener, and friendlier public spaces, helping communities (and cities!) unlock their potential, one street at a time.
