The minor 4 Dimensional Leadership is offered (since 2010 in Dutch and since 2016 in English) by the School of Facility Management of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, The Netherlands. It is a 5 months minor/exchange programme to deepen and broaden the field of leadership. This programme is about leadership, which is not the same as management. The demand for good leadership is increasing. However, what is good leadership? Both in theory and in practice it appears frequently that the right kind of leadership now and in the future consists of leadership that focuses on the four human dimensions 'Head' (IQ), 'Body' (PQ), 'Heart' (EQ) and 'Soul' (SQ) instead of only on the 'Head' (as happens very often). Good leaders need to be able in directing themselves and others, to bring these four human dimensions into balance. Current successful leaders claim it and apply it, leadership gurus talk and write about, respected and highly regarded institutes like Nyenrode University (The Netherlands) and INSEAD (France) train it. And you can join too now! The aim of this program is to learn students to recognise and develop the appropriate habits of these four dimensions IQ, PQ, EQ and SQ; both in themselves and in others and to bring them into balance. Above all you learn to develop and apply: Authentic and Personal Leadership!
