The Youth Action Hub (YAH) is an initiative that allows youth to raise their voices on a global scale and inspires them to take local action as change makers within their cities and communities. It was created by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) during the Second Youth Forum in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2018. WHAT DO WE DO? Our work is divided into two primary goals: a) Represent Dutch youth voice in an international network to UNCTAD by providing data on important issues which are related to youth, and b) inspire and encourage youth to take community action based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals put forth by the UN.

Each Youth Action Hub has up to 30 members who participate in projects designed to promote the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. These projects seek to increase entrepreneurship and innovation within youth through leadership workshops, conferences, and events in which locally, nationally, and internationally important events are debated.
