VSR owns a modern processing and packaging plant and is the European leader in private labels and natural rice tailored for the food industry and retail trade.

Thanks to a unique competence, refined over almost two centuries of history, VSR selects the best rice working closely with suppliers and buying as much as possible directly from the source without intermediaries. Rice is subjected to careful quality controls, systematically taking samples from each batch before and after shipment. VSR uses independent specialized laboratories to ensure that the origin and quality of the rice comply with strict specifications and relevant legislation.

The company has received IFS, BRC, SKAL and Fairtrade certifications.

When husked rice is shipped to Europe with container ships, VSR cuts down on subsequent road transport costs, thanks to the extraordinary location of its facilities, just 15 minutes from the port of Rotterdam.

After careful processing, the rice varieties are packaged: every form of packaging is developed by the specialized VSR staff, which meets the customer's needs optimizing costs and solving potential production, transport and storage constraints. All rice products are packaged according to their origin and customer specifications. VSR can offer all types of packaging and each packaging line is equipped with machines that guarantee continuous quality control and traceability of finished products.

Thanks to the collaboration with the main suppliers of logistics services, VSR can guarantee excellent performance in the delivery, putting itself at the service of the complex supply needs of its customers, whether they are retailers, operators Ho.Re.Ca. or industrial partners.
