TECNED (Technology for Energy Conversion the Netherlands) is an ambitious Dutch high-tech company which is specialized in designing and manufacturing energy conversion systems for use in the most demanding operating environments, without compromise towards reliability and system functionality. TECNED is ISO9001 certified and has R&D, production and quality control all under one roof, which enables extreme flexibility and ability to adapt to customers’ needs and wants. Therefore, TECNED products can be tailored individually for each customer. For TECNED, customization is a standard!

The products are based on traditional design with an innovative touch. The TECNED brand consists of:

• Rectifiers/ Chargers From 24Vdc to 220Vdc output voltage Up to 600A output

• Converters From 24Vdc to 220Vdc input and output voltage Up to 600A output

• Inverters From 24Vdc to 380Vdc input voltage From 110Vac to 240Vac output voltage Up to 100kVA output • Industrial UPS’s (Uninterruptible Power Supply) & STS’s (Static Transfer Switch)

All the products are made for insuring continuous power in challenging industries such as public infrastructure, oil & gas, power generation and other heavy industries where minimum down-time is desired. The products are available as fault tolerant systems (within a single enclosure). We distinguish between two fault tolerant design aspects: the systems are fault tolerant in controls and in systems. From TECNED headquarters, located in Balk, the Netherlands, the products are distributed to several countries. TECNED distributors are present on five continents.
