Almost everyone knows where to find a Starbucks store in their neighbourhood. But did you know that the location where the Starbucks Experience really starts in the Port of Amsterdam?

This has been the location of Starbucks Manufacturing EMEA since 2002. Starbucks's only coffee roasting plant outside of the US. Here, millions of coffee beans are cleaned, roasted, packaged, and distributed to the thousands of licensees in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Whether you order your Starbucks coffee in England, Turkey or Dubai, the beans are carefully selected and roasted in Amsterdam.

It is our mission to create a World Class Manufacturing site, focused on continuous improvement and LEAN production principles so that we:

1. Produce the best quality coffee 2. Improve reliability and 3. Increase capacity to support growing Starbucks.
