Markus Sales Leadership provides external sales and revenue leadership to B2B companies in Industry, Energy, Civil and other markets that are struggling to convert activity into results.

I specialize in situations where sales teams are active but underperforming: unclear structure, weak pipeline discipline, inconsistent forecasting, or founder-dependent selling.

Over the past years, I have built and restructured international sales organizations in highly technical environments. This includes setting up a complete U.S. operation from scratch (Houston, TX) for a Dutch industrial company — covering sales, legal structure, local project management, support, taxation and compliance — growing revenue from €0 to €5M over a five-year period, including during COVID.

In another case, I led the commercial turnaround of a company active in laboratory testing of hazardous materials for refineries and industrial sites, increasing revenue from €500K to €3.5M within 2.5 years.

I operate hands-on as an interim sales leader or on a project basis, working directly with management and sales teams. My focus is not “more leads”, but structure: sales operating rhythm, qualification, deal discipline, team setup and international go-to-market execution.

Typical engagements include sales resets, revenue turnarounds, international expansion and temporary leadership of sales teams (5–25+ people).
