Hej! We are Ingka Investments – one of the three core businesses of Ingka Group, the largest owner and operator of IKEA Retail. We invest in assets, manage companies, and operate strategic businesses to preserve and create value for Ingka Group and IKEA – now, and for generations to come.

Our objectives are to ensure the financial resilience of Ingka Group, support the transformation of IKEA Retail, contribute to sustainability, and strengthen the IKEA brand through responsible and impactful investments. We take a long-term approach, strategically investing with impact across our portfolios: forestland, renewable energy, financial markets, business acquisitions and venture, real estate and circular.

With six investment portfolios and several support functions, our roles vary from investment managers to sales and operations managers, and from business navigators to forest rangers. We’re connected through a passion for entrepreneurship and driving a more sustainable future.

Ingka Investments in numbers: • 6 investment portfolios • 20+ minority investments, including 4 circular companies, and 5 acquisitions • 320,000+ hectares of responsibly managed forestland in 7 countries • 21% of forest area included in conservation area network • 5 real estate investments in core mixed-use properties in prime locations and distribution and logistics centers • Invested or committed to invest over EUR 4 billion in renewable energy production assets, like wind and solar. • 47 wind farms and 13 solar farms in operation across 16 countries
