Over Focus on the Equine Spine

Focus on the Equine Spine offers international postacademic chiropractic courses for equine veterinarians and licensed equine physiotherapists interested in the pathology, diagnostics, therapy and rehabilitation of equine spinal-related disorders and dysfunctioning.

Focus on the Equine Spine was established in the Netherlands in 2005 with the ambition to provide equine veterinarians and physiotherapists with a high-quality, clinically-oriented, evidence-based post-graduate education in all aspects of the diagnosis and management of neuromusculoskeletal issues in the equine spine and pelvis. The organization offers a Base and an Advanced Course, both consisting of three 3-day modules, 6 extra-modular practical trainings, a theory and a practical exam.

Furthermore, Focus on the Equine Spine periodically offers continuing education meetings, both theoretical and practical. FES graduates, interested candidates and former lecturers are invited to register and share their updates in knowledge and skills.

The next event on our agenda is the start of the Advanced Course in december 2020; registration is open for participants who have successfully completed the Base Course.

The new Base Course will start in september 2022. Registration is open for veterinarians and licensed equine physiotherapists.
