BK PhD Council

Over BK PhD Council

The BK PhD council represents all PhD candidates from the four departments of the TU Delft's Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment (BK): Architecture, Architectural Engineering & Technology, Management in the Built Environment, and Urbanism. It creates a platform for PhD candidates to interact socially and optimally develop their research.

We support PhD candidates in their collective affairs. We organize meetings for knowledge sharing and stimulate discussions and collaborations. We hold social events to get to know each other better and work as a community.

We have a position in the University PhD Council (UPC) and in the BK's Research Council. We function as a sounding board for the Faculty Graduate School A+BE, where we give feedback on the educational programme and propose improvements.
