Visser Leeuwarden heeft in meer dan 100 jaar bestaan een excellente reputatie opgebouwd als producent van kwalitatief hoogwaardige ambulances, defensie-, politie– en lichte brandweervoertuigen. Opgericht door Gerben Visser in 1910 als “Visser Wagenmakerij” en uitgegroeid tot Visser Leeuwarden, is het bedrijf hedentendage innovatief en ontwikkelt en produceert in nauwe samenwerking met de klant specifieke producten op maat.

De ontwikkeling van lichtgewicht interieurs voor hulpverleningsvoertuigen en Mission Modules voor de Boxer, een groot pantserwielvoertuig, zijn slechts een kleine greep uit de pallet van mogelijkheden en oplossingen geboden door Visser Leeuwarden. Optimale flexibiliteit bij het vertalen van klanten-wensen, binnen hoge veiligheidseisen en excellente duurzaamheid, kenmerken de bedrijfsfilosofie.

Met eigen productiefaciliteiten in Leeuwarden, onderdeel zijnde van het internationale Ziegler GmbH en partner van Ambulanz Mobile, beschikt Visser Leeuwarden over een toonaangevend en innovatief productportfolio.

Visser Leeuwarden has built an excellent reputation for over 100 years as a manufacturer of high quality ambulances, defense, police and light fire vehicles. Founded by Gerben Visser in 1910 as "Visser Wagenmakerij"​ and grown into Visser Leeuwarden, the company is innovative and develops, in close cooperation with the customer, tailor-made specific products.
