The holding was founded to acquire a company that had expertise in wine since 1920 and had a reputation as one of the strongest commercial offices for marketing and sales of wines of wine producers or traders from all over the world, with a market share of 10% of the Dutch total import volume. From there it continued to invest in wine related business and acquired an estate of 40ha in the French Provence, a trader from Bordeaux, an internet wine data base, a trader in internbational wines and several other companies.
