In 1910 richt Hessel van der Meulen in Ferwerd een kleine ambachtelijke beschuitbakkerij op. Vier generaties later staat het familiebedrijf onder leiding van Johannes van der Meulen. Het bedrijf is uitgegroeid tot een betrouwbare nationale en internationale handelspartner met export naar meer dan 40 landen. Kwaliteit staat hoog in het vaandel: Van der Meulen is BRC, IFS, GMP en SKAL gecertificeerd.

In 1910 Hessel van der Meulen starts in Ferwerd a small artisan bakery biscuit. Four generations later, the family business is now headed by Johannes van der Meulen.
