Urenco Isotopes, based at Urenco’s facility in Almelo, the Netherlands, uses centrifuge technology to separate isotopes of various elements.

Our purpose is to unlock innovation and enrich lives, and our mission is to empower advancements in healthcare, research and beyond. Guided by this, we produce a variety of products for medical, industrial and research applications.

Our stable isotopes are used in some of the most innovative and cutting-edge science and technology areas including quantum computing, semiconductors and the manufacture of next-generation materials.

Our medical isotopes are a cornerstone of nuclear medicine and are used in products and processes that research, diagnose and treat a wide range of diseases, including cancers. We currently produce medical isotopes for three specific areas of the medical sector – diagnostics, therapy and pain relief.
