About The WIT Network Netherlands

The WIT Network Netherlands is the Dutch chapter of The WIT Network, a global non-profit community dedicated to making it easier for women to imagine, start, and grow a career in technology.

Founded on the belief that diversity drives innovation, The WIT Network has grown from just 3 to over 80 communities worldwide in under four years, with support from Microsoft in more than 45 countries. Our mission is to create inclusive, accessible, and supportive pathways for women and girls at every stage of their STEM/STEAM journey.

Our mission:

• Attract, retain, and encourage girls and women to pursue STEM/STEAM education and careers • Inspire women to advance into leadership roles and entrepreneurship • Provide mentorship opportunities across all career stages • Support philanthropic initiatives that expand access to STEM/STEAM education • Help organizations define and implement effective Diversity & Inclusion strategies

Our vision:

• Establish a WIT chapter in every country • Offer consistent, ready-to-use programs and resources for local communities • Continuously listen to and evolve with our members’ needs • Collaborate with other WIT groups to amplify our global impact • Lead the way in delivering WIT Diversity & Inclusion solutions for IT organizations • Maximize funding to create value for both members and sponsors
