Studio Onno Adriaanse is a sculptural design studio focused on unique design/art objects inspired by landscapes and their geological processes.

Founded in 2016 in Eindhoven (NL) after Onno’s graduation from the Design Academy Eindhoven, the studio develops both commissioned and self-initiated works. Onno’s design process is hands-on and material-oriented, resulting in statement pieces with a high level of craftsmanship. The fascination that Onno had as a child for stones, animals, and plants is still present and is now translated into design and art objects. He translates the wonder of natural phenomena into form and texture by highlighting specific elements, echoing organic shapes, and using natural colors.

His work reflects a deep focus on craft and material exploration. Modern machines and techniques are not avoided, but handwork remains essential, and artistic choices are visible in the material. With his artworks and material finishes, Onno aims to create a world that invites stillness and wonder, a place to slow down and be moved by form and material. It is a world that steps away from the fast-paced, digital focus of modern life and instead reconnects with the rhythms, colours, and tranquillity of the natural world.
