About Studio Kim Koster

Kim Koster (1988) is an illustrator and designer specialised in flora and fauna illustrations and patterns. She is based in The Netherlands. After studying Journalism for two years, she decided to take a different path and graduated in Photography at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, in 2013. She missed drawing and painting so much, however, that she now combines that passion with her love for the natural world as an illustrator.

From a very young age, Kim showed great interest in her natural surroundings. Always exploring, learning about trees, plants and animals, she spent most of her days outside. As an adult, this curiosity resulted in a great passion and concern for our living planet. Her main hope is to inspire a sense of wonder about and love for the natural world through her creative work.
