About Student Society of the International Business School - SSIBS

The Student Society of the International Business School (SSIBS) is a students-for-students organization, part of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, and more specifically of the International Business School of the Economics and Management Department. First and foremost we realize that building for a common purpose will increase knowledge flow and lead to network expansion, thus providing the chance for wider range of opportunities. Secondly, our name reveals our passion for community development and engagement of students in both academic and entertaining extracurricular endeavours. While the latter are to be held on and beyond campus we do always strive to deliver a balanced combination of activities that provoke personal and career growth. What also makes SSIBS unique from other student organizations is the aim for enforcing pro-activeness in the means of excellence, determination and connectivity, regardless of professional field and cultural differences. Another core differentiator of SSIBS is our diversity – with direct access to a pool of nearly 3000 undergraduate students, representing more than 70 nationalities – we have established a truly global culture with local presence.
