About Stichting Rwanda Solidair

At the SRS Foundation, we’re driven by a simple belief: every child, and young adult, deserves care, dignity, and the chance to thrive. Our focus is on supporting the AVEH-Umurerwa Center in Bugesera, Rwanda, which provides a safe home and essential care for children with special needs.

Our goal is to ensure that AVEH has the resources it needs to meet the daily challenges of caring for these children, while also building a future where the center can sustain itself. We do this by raising funds and creating connections that bring in knowledge, support, and opportunities.

The SRS foundation is entirely volunteer-run. Every donation, every bit of effort, goes directly to the centre where it's needed most. We follow the Dutch ANBI (algemeen nut beogende installing) status. For us, this is more than just a cause—it’s a community effort of family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers, to uplift and empower those who need it most.
