About Save the Paradise
Save the Paradise is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing deforestation of the Chocó rainforest in the Mompiche area. We accomplish this by purchasing land and legally designating it as an ecological reserve, ensuring its protection in perpetuity. Additionally, we have established the CoNeMo network of landowners to create a wildlife corridor by acquiring and connecting larger areas. Currently, 300 hectares are connected. Our goal is to reduce the need for the sale of privately owned land through various social and microeconomic projects.
