Poppies is a refreshingly simple hotel concept born from a need for accessible, top-notch accommodation in the heart of Amsterdam Noord. We’ve rethought the traditional guest experience by focusing on smart design and a reduced physical footprint without ever compromising on comfort or privacy.

Our windowless, well-insulated rooms are designed as peaceful, private spaces featuring: Private bathrooms with eco-rainshowers and sustainably produced luxe toiletries. Plush king-sized beds and premium linens. Smart tech, including digital smartphone keys, high-tech ventilation, and Chromecast TV. Clever under-bed storage for cabin luggage.

Beyond the room, Poppies is rooted in the community. Our Lobby Café, housed in a former powder-coating factory, is a communal space where guests and neighbors alike can enjoy locally roasted specialty coffee and a seasonal menu highlighting homegrown Dutch gems sourced from our neighbours.

We're committed to a sustainable future: our rooftop is covered in solar panels, our operations are gas-free, and we prioritize partnerships with local makers and farmers.

At Poppies, we believe the people make the place. While our check-in is digital and streamlined, our team is always on hand to share stories and make connections, because we know there is zero hospitality without people.
