About Pandemic

Pandemic was founded in 2015 by students at the University of Amsterdam from the interdisciplinary bachelor’s program PPLE (Politics, Psychology, Law, Economics). Since then, Pandemic has expanded as an organization, business, and idea.

The magazine re-launched in February 2018 with a new board, publishing approach, and branding. With our diverse and hard-working team, we’re excited to continue the spread of infectious ideas!

We’re staying in touch with our print roots by publishing monthly themed issues, but because we are predominately an online platform, each issue will evolve and grow based on submissions from our readers. Here at Pandemic, we’re not afraid to start discussions on controversial topics, ranging anywhere from the impact of the cocaine on Columbia to the ethics of ambition.

In addition to publishing provocative articles, Pandemic also features work by creative writers and artists.
