About MyDiagnostick - 1 minute AF Heartcheck - Stroke prevention

Developed by Applied Biomedical Systems, MyDiagnostick is a medical grade 2a AtriumFibrillation (AF) detection device. We develop products and services which are valued and trusted by both medical professionals and patients at the same time. With our focus on underdiagnosed heartconditions we've developed MyDiagnostick together with cardiologists, general practitioners, patients and development experts. With the heart condition AF contributing to approximately 30% of all strokes due to the increased formation of blood cloths its effects can be severe whilst awareness of AF is still very low in the general public.

This has resulted in a simple and trusted device which records a high-quality ECG and an advanced algorithm that can find AF in the recorded ECG. The measurement is as simple as holding the steering wheel for 1 minute after which the outcome of the measurement immediately is displayed. The result is either a green light (no AF detected) or a red light (AF detected; please contact your doctor).

A simple treatment can reduce the risk of getting a stroke dramatically. That's why the MyDiagnostick team both focusses on awareness creation for AF and increasing the quality of diagnosis for both the cardiologists and the GP.
