I'm Maarten van der Heide, founder of Momentum Labs Consulting. I've spent 20+ years shipping hardware across connected devices, consumer electronics, and physical products, from early concept through production at scale, at companies like Sonos, Polaroid, Spinn, and Dott. I work with two kinds of clients: Hardware founders and their teams who need senior product leadership without a full-time hire. I help you move faster, make better technical decisions, and build the team and processes to actually ship. Investors who need an independent read on execution risk. I do technical due diligence that goes beyond the pitch deck. The moments I care about most are the ones where the wrong call costs real money: moving from prototype to production, scaling a team under pressure, deciding what to build next and what to cut. That's where I step in.
