About Material Innovation Center

MIC, the Material Innovation Center, is concerned with connecting a collective of universities, research institutions, businesses, entrepreneurs, governments, and other stakeholders to achieve innovation on materials, whilst working with new materials and technologies that valorise secondary resources and enhance waste prevention.

How we work Our team strives to do the above by integrating competences, skills, experiences that lead to a unique set of expertise to support the quantification of impacts of the circular use of materials and products, hence the recovery of materials and products. MIC builds on and shares learnings across the community of makers coming together to think, craft, play, work, learn, fail, persist and try out new techniques with high quality circular materials and machines.
