About Martijn van Gurp Animator AND Illustrator

After completing education in animation at Art Academy St. Joost in Breda, Martijn van Gurp started as an Freelance Animator and Illustrator in June 2009. In animation he is specialised in handdrawn cartoons (2D). Among other things he also draws illustrations, comics, storyboards, characterdesign, commercials, infomercials (explaining animations), webanimations and more. Martijn van Gurp puts a lot of detail and care into his work, with much attention for the message, storytelling, character development and quality.

Animation and drawings are great ways to explain some idea or tell a story! It’s funny, modern, dynamic and can tell more than a thousand words.
