Mahala is a specialized staffing firm for senior freelance Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and AI/ML Engineers. We serve enterprises across Europe and the GCC.

Founded by Amir Grabic (change management, IT & Data projectmanagement)and Jos Preusting (20+ years in HR and staffing), we built Mahala because we kept seeing the same problem from both sides: companies waiting weeks for generic CVs from agencies that don't understand the work, and top specialists getting burned by slow, opaque hiring chains.

What we do differently is simple: we vet the people ourselves. Not with keyword filters, but with technical assessments, structured interviews, and real-world problem solving. Our vetting reject rate is high because our standard is. When we send you a profile, it's because we'd hire them ourselves.
