We collaborate with leading heat pump manufacturers to build magnetocaloric heat pumps, for both heating and cooling applications, and replace today’s inefficient and climate unfriendly vapor compression systems. Our material heats-up when exposed to a magnetic field and cools-down when the field is removed: the Magnetocaloric Effect. Magneto’s patented low-cost, rare-earth-free, non-toxic material operates over a wide temperature range (-80°C to 200°C). Combined with advanced 3D-printing technology, we enable mass production of efficient magnetocaloric heat exchangers at competitive prices, unlocking a vast global market.
