The student and social activities portal www.maastown.nl was a student initiative founded in 2009. On the website a team of five students informed students about recent events and activities in Maastricht. It's facebook page reached over 400 "Likes" at its peak and google analytics counted an average of 100 visitors per day. The website was shut down in autumn 2010.
