About Jiki Foundation / Stichting Jiki

The goal of the foundation is to directly support small local development- and conservationprojects in primarily the Gambia (maybe at one time we will expand our work to other countries in Africa) and everything connected or beneficial to that goal. The projects should aim to improve the health, selfsufficiency and/or chances of the Gambian people in an honest, natural and sustainable way that respects and protects the Gambian land, wildlife and culture and has an optimistic angle. The foundation attempts to reach her goal by gathering goods and money in the Netherlands, making and keeping contact with local projects in the Gambia (or other countries), contributing the gathered funds and goods to these projects, inform about and research possible other projects.
