About International Forwarding Association

The IFA was established in 1992 by a handful of companies. Meanwhile, our network has more than 40 independent, small and medium-sized forwarders throughout Europe.

The IFA has become a recognized network in the European logistics and transport sector for over 20 years.

We're able to create and offer solutions for our partners and customers. It is mission-critical to us that we find the best logistics solution and the best price in the right amount of time!

Equality among our partners and similar business structures – independent, medium-sized companies - Is what makes the IFA so successful. Each IFA partner has experience in handling air and sea freight. So procurement and distribution are always professionally handled.

IFA is synonymous with service quality and reliability. Our partners offer their customers a vast range of services in systematized procurement and distribution logistics.

IFA Customers use the pooled synergy of all available services offered by every IFA partner - and there are many!

Future goals for the IFA are; constant development, improvement in processes and to have at least one IFA partner in every European country.

To reach these goals we rely on recruiting more dedicated and powerful partners in the transport and logistics sector.
