Indorama Ventures is een internationaal opererend chemieconcern, actief in Europa, Azië, Afrika en Noord Amerika.

Indorama Ventures is de grootste producent van PET voor verpakkingsdoeleinden. PET is ’s werelds meest toegepaste recyclebare plastic en kent talloze toepassingen in verpakkingsmateriaal, zoals de bekende frisdrank- en waterflessen.

Indorama Ventures beschikt in het Rotterdam Europoort-gebied over een productielocatie met 3 fabrieken en een Utilities fabriek. In de PTA-fabriek wordt tereftaalzuur PTA (Purified Terephthalic Acid) geproduceerd als grondstof voor de productie van polyester en in de 2 PET-fabrieken worden polyester korrels worden gemaakt voor de verpakkingsindustrie.

Op de productielocatie in Europoort werken ongeveer 250 mensen. Veiligheid, milieubewustzijn, collegialiteit, teamwork en een informele werksfeer staan bij ons op de eerste plaats. Indorama Ventures heeft in de Europoort de afgelopen jaren fors geïnvesteerd in silo's, verlaadstations en Utilities.
