About Groningen Investment Team

Groningen Investment Team, or GIT, is the sole student-run investment team for students from the University of Groningen. GIT is meant for all students with a passion for finance and investing. Every three weeks, each of the four subteams come together to discuss their portfolio, have pitches and discuss investment opportunities. In these portfolios, we focus on equities, fixed income products and derivative instruments.

GIT is a joint effort between FSG, the Financial Study Association of Groningen, and VESTING, the study association for Econometrics and Operations Research (EOR) students. GIT comprises four teams: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta. Whether you are new to the field or a more experienced investor, there is always something new to learn within each team.
