About Green Heart

The GREEN HEART endeavor grew out of a documentary movie produced by MONKEYSHOOT STUDIOS. Over an 18-month period of developing and producing the movie - which is focused on PTSD in military veterans, captured through the personal story of Mr Jamal Saksak (Sgt. Major retired) - we came across many, many more stories from serving personnel and veterans.

These stories were calling out to be shared, to be covered. And the team encountered them not only in the Netherlands where this started but all over the world...

So we expanded. That first movie is no longer known by its original name, as it is far more appropriate for this collection of stories, makers and more.

The GREEN HEART initiative is now about transforming content and media platforms into agents of positive change for military stories and people. We empower personnel and veterans alike to share their stories in any medium, and encourage the general public to better understand the huge contributions which individuals from the military walk of life have made - and continue to make.
