About Global Empowerment Direct

Global Empowerment Direct (GED) is an advisory platform founded in 2018 by Krystal K. Thompson, international governance and leadership advisor with 25 years inside complex institutional environments across Africa, Asia, Central America, Europe, and the Middle East.

GED supports leaders and institutions navigating governance, rule of law, human rights, and the human demands of complex institutional work. Our advisory engagements span judicial reform, gender-based violence prevention, trafficking in persons, CSR safeguarding frameworks, and leadership sustainability in high-pressure environments.

Current engagement includes work with the Asian Development Bank in Indonesia.

GED is built on one conviction: institutions that do not sustain their people cannot sustain their mission.
