About ESN Nijmegen

Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student organization and the biggest student association in Europe. We are present in more than 900 Higher Education Institutions from 42 countries. The network is constantly developing and expanding. Our mission is to represent international students, thus provide opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of 'Students Helping Students'​. We have around 15,000 active members that are in many sections supported by so called buddies mainly taking care of international students. Thus, ESN involves around 40,000 young people offering its services to around 220,000 international students every year. If you would like to know more about our network, take a look at www.esn.org.

ESN Nijmegen was born on January 14th, 2017. The vision of ESN Nijmegen is to create meaningful intercultural experiences on a local level. We work to improve integration between Dutch and international students by organising joint activities and creating a platform for meaningful intercultural and personal exchanges on a local level.
