About Energise!
Energise! - Research into the role of energy metabolism for the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
Energise! offers a new approach by seeing the essence of the problem as one of disturbed energy turnover, leading us to propose new and alternative ways to combat cardiovascular disease by increasing energy expenditure via strategies that will be founded in basic research and tested in epidemiological studies.
This consortium is funded by the Dutch Heart Foundation.
