Every time when I work with a customer, somewhere in the process, sooner or later, I see a change in their eyes and posture. As if a light has been switched on. That is when I know they have found their game.

Find the game is a design method with a strong focus on working with game mechanics already present in the given situation. Rather than designing a new game, we like to search for the game which is already there. We just need to find it.

We use games for decision making, problem solving, knowledge transfer or sometimes to gain more insight in complex scenarios. Most companies that I have worked with already know this, they already know the benefits and strengths of serious gaming and gamification. Yet they struggle to properly design, develop and implement them.
