Damen Marine Components (DMC) has over 150 years of experience in the shipbuilding industry. DMC specialises in the design and production of rudders, steering gear, control systems, winches and nozzles.

DMC has supplied thousands of nozzles for propeller diameters ranging from 500 up to 10,000 mm. In-house production facilities in the Netherlands, Gdansk-Poland and Jianying-China manufacture most nozzles, steering gear, control systems and rudders, which ensures highest quality and short communication lines. For the design of the total product portfolio, including Van der Velden® rudders and steering gear, DMC maintains relations with all stakeholders in the market, like equipment suppliers, research institutes, shipyards, naval architects, fleet and vessel owners worldwide. Being a specialist in manoeuvring equipment DMC has obtained great market share worldwide. The unique 24/7 international service network ensures ultimate service to all customers worldwide.
