About Business Psychology Society Maastricht

Founded in 2022, the Business Psychology Society (BPS) Maastricht is a newly formed student association which has the goal to provide valuable insights into the crossing between human psychology and business administration.

Thereby, it connects the SBE (business) and FPN (psychology) faculty by offering inspirational guest talks, interactive workshops, as well as networking events.

What is business psychology, you ask?

In short: Organisations are run by people. To run an organisation successfully, one needs to understand the people within, help them develop, keep them motivated, and find ways to access their highest potential.

Business Psychology picks up right here, being on the crossing between psychology and business administration in order to improve the productivity, efficiency and culture of organisations as well as the working environment for people in general.

Informed by these findings, members of BPS can increase productivity and efficiency greatly also for themselves. A further focus of this association lies on providing students with preparation tips for their professional and private development.
