Legato is de nieuwe Burgumer muziekvereniging voor blaasmuziek. De voormalige muziekverenigingen Hallelujah Burgum en Apollo Burgum gaan sinds september 2018 samen verder als één fanfarekorps.
Burgumer muziekverenging Legato is de nieuwe officiële naam. De naam is afgeleid van de muziekterm ‘legato’ dat verbinding betekent, het verbinden van noten in bladmuziek. En in ons geval de verbindingen tussen de twee Burgumer fanfares.
