BSR Van Uden Stevedoring is a privately held, professional multi-purpose terminal which provides expert stevedoring, vessel loading and unloading services for the global maritime transportation industry in the ports of Rotterdam. Our team of professionals maintains the highest productivity, while offering customers the flexibility necessary to accommodate such diverse range of cargo. We can easily switch between loading and unloading of dry Agribulk, to handling containers or bundles of steel. Besides the excellence in transshipment of these various goods, we are also able to offer storage facilities on our private and secured terminal. With a total of 20.000 square meters of storage capcacity, and an ideal location in the heart of port Rotterdam, we can offer you a full range of possibilities to optimize your supply chain! Competences • Yearly average of loading/unloading of 1400 ships. • Handling: 3.000.000 Mt of dry bulk, 800.000 Mt break-bulk • Added value: stripping / stuffing containers with bulk and / or general cargoes. • Our “green” terminal has been renovated according to the latest requirements regarding environmental protection. The terminal is surrounded by a concrete wall to avoid dusting and sound pollution etc. Quality & Equipment • Quay length of 800 meters. • Private and secured terminal of 6 acres. • Depth up to 9.65 meters. • If > 10 meters is needed; floating cranes are deployed. • 3 Floating cranes with a range of 16-25 tons. • 5 shore cranes with a range of 10-40 metric tons. • Transshipment of 400 – 750 metric tons per hour. • A total of 20.000 square meters of (bonded) storage. • Unique covered storage capacity in “on shore-barges”. • Ro-Ro quay. • 2 weighing bridges of 70 metric tons. • Forklifts from 2T to 16T capacity. • Reachstackers for container handling. • ISPS, ISO, SKAL and GMP+ certified.
