BLOK is een mediaplatform voor en door jonge Amsterdammers, die vinden dat er iets flink mis is met het huidige beeld dat de media schetsen. Juist in deze tijden waarin negatieve geluiden overstemmen en mensen tegenover elkaar komen te staan, vindt BLOK het belangrijk om een positief, kritisch en inclusief geluid te laten horen. BLOK bestaat uit een team van jonge reporters met ieder een eigen specialiteit: geschreven journalistiek, fotografie, tekenen en video. Het team wordt ondersteund door jonge mediaprofessionals.
