Chapter 1: The Beginning There was once a saying about Amsterdam: There are no strangers here, only friends you havent yet met. And this is what brought 5 of us together one cold wintry evening at the P60 studio in amsterdam. We did not know each other personally, just by name and mutual acquaintances. But we had one thing in common, our love for rock music. Our jamming sessions turned frequent with alternative rock becoming the main focus of our songs. So now without further ado, presenting to you, ALT CENTRAL, the alternative rock band which has a touch of every flavor for you : from old melodies to new bollywood flicks, from Nirvana to Oasis, from satyajit ray to anupam ray...

Chapter 2 :The Gang Milton: imagine broken chords, arpeggios, added 5th 7th and 9th and a pedal for every occasion and you get Milton, the lead guitarist, of the band .Influenced by bands like U2 his own compositions truly reflects this alt style.

Showvik: Be it the djembe, or the octapad or the drums this drummer is quite comfortable and plays in his own unique style

Soham : His distinct bass style is alternative from the word go, and with his ibanez his bass lines give the songs the beautiful enrichment that they need, much like the bands he likes, namely Audioslave and Oasis

Dwaipayan a.k.a DC : The singer and the melody weaver. He and his SM58 are inseparable. Composing and songwriting come naturally to him.

Saptarshi a.k.a Sap : The keyboardist, the pianist, the storyteller, the singer, the composer and the narrator. Alternative rock comes naturally to me with heavy influences of Nirvana, Coldplay, Radiohead and Linkin Park.
