Alco Energy Rotterdam is a young biorefinery that was started in 2010 in Europoort Rotterdam. It is one of the largest producers of bioethanol, animal feed and CO₂ in Europe.

The Rotterdam factory is part of Alcogroup, one of the largest bioethanol producer in Europe, and Vanden Avenne, a specialized grain trader. As Alco Energy Rotterdam, we are a sustainable organization that have as a goal to be climate-neutral by 2030.

The factory in the Europoort has approximately 120 employees.

Alco Energy makes a solid contribution to sustainable energy use in transport and protein feed.
