About AHEAD-International
Our History:
AHEAD International (assistance for Health, Education and Development) is a non-governmental, non-political, and not-for-profit organization that aims to contribute to the improvement of social welfare, education, social development, civil society development, and public health in the urban, rural, and least advantaged areas of the world. AHEAD International started its journey of serving Afghanistan in 2008, by the provision of HEALTH, short- and medium-term training to employees of the public and private sector in the areas of business management, and provision of technical and vocational training to job seekers and later it was expanded to over 100 small and large-scale development projects funded by major donors in Afghanistan. Our Vision, Mission, and Values Our vision is to see the realization and development of public health, education, community development, and a vibrant and vital civil society where the interest, concerns, and dignity of the civilians are taken seriously and more people have access to resources.
Our mission is to contribute to improving the quality of life of people through the provision of high-quality education, capacity building, health, humanitarian, emergency assistance, and community-level awareness-raising services that collectively contribute to the development particularly in low-income and conflict-affected zones in the world.
